'Mirotic' is a newly coined Korean term meaning 'forever trapped in a maze, a feeling of being wrapped in love with no way out'. This word summarizes nicely how good music makes you feel, and South Korea has some of the most unique and catchy hip-hop, R&B, electro and pop music in the world. This blog's purpose is to introduce that music to the lovers of these genres who do not yet know South Korean style.

Word (Phrase) of the Day: hagu noraerae joh-a ha-saeyo?
The 'Word of the Day' is my way of learning (and hopefully at the same time, help you learn) Korean words pertaining to music, the 'biz' and those words specific to certain genre's, bands, and situations. It will all revolve around music, so it should be fun to find new words every day!
This was the first sentence I translated, on my own with no help, so I'm sharing it!
Today's word (phrase) is 'hagu noraerae joh-a ha-saeyo'.
It means 'Do you like Korean music?'
Written in Hangul, it looks like this: 하국 노래를 좋아하세요?
It is pronounced 'hagu noraerae joh-a ha-saeyo'.
What a mouthful!!!
I hope you enjoyed today's Word of the Day. See you tomorrow!
